There are certain “rules” you want to obey, in order to maximize the comfort of you sleep.

If you have a hard floor, then make sure that metal legs of your frame are equipped with some kind of rubber pads. Otherwise you better insert the rubber discs between the legs and the floor.
Put all screws in, but do not tighten them completely until all screws are in place. You want tighten them diagonally applying equal pressure.
In another words you do not want to create a tension by over tighten the screw on one side of the frame whereas you have not put the bolt in on the other side of frame.
By tightening them diagonally you eliminate the possible squeaking and other undesirable noise during the night.
Also, please Do check the minimum slat spacing requirement for their mattresses before the purchase of a bed.
It is always better to have somebody to help you while assembling the bed – at least holding the long bars and stabilize it.
